Ratcliffe Community Learning Center Now Taking Applications

The Henrico Education Foundation, in partnership with Henrico County Public School’s has brought the 21st Century Community Learning Center (CLC) to Ratcliffe Elementary. The CLC responds to challenges students face both inside and outside of the classroom with schools as “centers” of the community, open to students and families beyond the school day. This year, year 2 of the grant funded program, we will be adding 4th grade to our roster; making the Extended Learning, commonly referred to as the Extended Day Program, available to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students. The Extended Day Program is an afterschool program that is offered by the 2st Century CLC and in accordance with county guidelines, will be virtual the first 9 weeks. The Extended Day Program begins October 5, 2020. For more information, please also visit their website at

Please watch this brief video introducing the CLC and all it encompasses.
