Principal’s Message

Oct. 1, 2019

Ram Families,
It is hard to believe it is already October! We are excited about all of the new opportunities this year will bring for our students. Our students are off to a great start and in order to keep them going we encourage you to continue to support our school and your child.

We have already seen your support in making sure your child attends school daily and on time. Our attendance numbers look AWESOME! Please remember to call the school if your child is out sick, has an appointment, or if there is a family emergency.

We also notice that students are coming to school understanding the difference between school expectations versus non-school expectations. School expectations are similar to those you demonstrate at church, a restaurant, or special place you may visit with your family. Thanks so much for helping your child understand the difference. We want to have a safe and nurturing learning environment.

Here are some ways you can be engaged in your child’s learning:

• Share Your Own School Experiences and ask them about their experiences. For example, ask them “What is your favorite part of the day?” “Tell me two things you learned today that you didn’t know before.”

• Research with them or read to them about topics they are learning about in school.

• Volunteer at the school

• Display your child’s work at home, make them feel proud.

We are so appreciative of all you will do to support our school.

With Gratitude,
Mrs. Reed, Principal
