Mark your calendars! October 19 - 23, Ratcliffe will celebrate Digital Citizenship & Unity Week. We’ll be combining dress-up days with meaningful lessons on online safety, digital well-being, and cyberbullying prevention.
Here is the themed schedule for the week:
Monday, October 19th – Shields & Armor Day (Password Protection)
Dress Code: Camo, superhero attire, or metallic/silver clothing.
Theme: Building strong passwords and keeping private information safe.
Tuesday, October 20th – Spot the Fake (Media Literacy & Critical Thinking)
Dress Code: Mismatched outfits, backwards clothes, or detective gear.
Theme: Identifying fake news, spotting phishing scams, and checking sources.
Wednesday, October 21st – Unity Day (Bullying & Cyberbullying Prevention)
Dress Code: WEAR ORANGE!
Theme: Standing together for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion both online and offline.
Thursday, October 22nd – Disconnect to Reconnect (Digital Wellness & Mental Health)
Dress Code: Pajamas, sweatpants, or comfy loungewear.
Theme: Finding screen-time balance, unplugging, and recharging.
Friday, October 23rd – Shine a Bright Footprint (Positive Online Presence)
Dress Code: Neon colors or Ratcliffe spirit gear.
Theme: Building a positive digital footprint and using technology to uplift others.
